About this website
Sometimes it's not easy owning and running a rare motorcycle.
If something goes wrong and the bike starts misbehaving it can be a nightmare finding out where to start and even whether the problem is serious or not.
This
website aims to take away at least some of the pain by covering the basic
technical issues, as well as suggesting modifications and everything is
presented in a way that's easy to find. It also points to where you can
find more detailed information.
The site also aims to bring more owners together both online and to the many Futura meets in the UK and Europe, as well as being a source of information for owners and those looking to buy a used Futura.
First version
I intend the website to grow over time and become the best resource devoted to the Futura on the web. This is very much the first version and I've had to make a few compromises to get online. Again, in time the site will develop to allow more functionality and more pages.
But most of all this site aims to celebrate the Aprilia RST1000 Futura, probably the best sports tourer ever built by any manufacturer and a bike that inspires love and loyalty for so many of its owners.
