Aprilia Futura - Meets, rideouts and tours
There is something of a tradition of Futura gatherings - the bike is so rare owners tend to take a perverse pleasure in gathering a load of Futuras in one place.

As the picture above (taken in 2006) shows, French meets remain popular, and in 2008 there have been mini-gatherings of about eight or nine bikes all over Europe. Hopefully this site will help inspire more.
The picture below was from a UK meet in 2004, where 14 Futuras turned up. At the bottom of the page is a picture of a meet of the Danish Futura club in 2008. Arne and his friends got 16 bikes together at an 'Italian day' in Denmark.

UK Futura meets - 2009
North Yorks/ Lake District meet: April 18/19
We had a good turnout and were blessed with sunshine for the first Futura meeting of the year.
Based around Hawes, N.Yorkshire, we spent two days sampling the best roads of the Lake District, the Yorkshire Moors and County Durham. Visit the gallery of photos from the weekend.
Bristol Italian Auto Moto Day (and ride-in): April 25
There were only two Futuras but the Aprilia ride-in was well attended, despite some dodgy weather, with 43 bikes joining to meet at the event in Bristol city centre.

Other UK meetings
Though there's nothing concrete planned yet, there are some ore meets planned for the UK in the summer and autumn. Details will appear here.
Continental EU Futura meets - 2009
French Futura meet: May 20-24
The Futura attracts a loyal and dedicated following in France and the French annual meeting is usually well-attended. It's in the area of Beziers in the south this year. More details are available on the French Futura website.
